Excellent presentation. We did both Arizona and Ford island. You will have a better understanding of Dec 7 1941 when done.

Very interesting set of museums that is absolutely worth to see.
1. Keep in mind you will need at least 6 hours to see all 4 parts of the exhibition.
We have arrived around 11 am. Next movie was scheduled for 1 pm. So we went to discover the submarine. It took us around 1-1.5 hours. Had a quick snack and went to see movie.
After movie they took us on a boot to Arizona memorial.
It was wave so we did not get out to memorial.
When we were back, we took the bus to battleship Missouri. Shuttles are running every 15-30 minutes. There is a tour on ship history - make sure you take it as it is very informative and interesting. Then you will have time to explore the ship yourself.
This all took us almost to 4 pm.
Quickly took another shuttle to Aviation museum. There are 2 huge hangars. Make sure you have enough time to go over the planes.
As a result we left with the last shuttle at 5 pm.

The day we went was windy do they couldn't dock on the memorial so we just drove past. There wasn't really much explanation of what were looking at other than the video that you watch before hand. I did enjoy the video and gave of good summary of what happened.

Excellent tour, Larry our operator provided us with a city tour and then walked us thru the entry at the Arizona Memorial.

Larry was quite thorough and his advice was spot on. The conviennence of using a tour company was well worth it, given a taxi there and back would have been expensive.

The experience of being able to board a submarine, the Might Mo battleship, and attend a very touching visit to the Arizona is worth the day, if we want to make it a day's adventure. Amazing what part of our history it takes you to is unbelievable.
