You never know what you are going to get when you get a room rate as great as we did, but we were pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff (both check-in and check-out) went out of there way to help us and ask about our stay. The hotel is within 2 blocks of Old Town Albuquerque, which has a great little square, restaurants, shops and San Felipe de Neri church which was established in 1793. The room had a microwave, refrigerator and hair dryer (some other low rate hotels we have stayed at did not provide these). There is an indoor pool, free wifi and hot breakfast. Safe area but the facility has a lot of security cameras that are monitored from the front desk. They charged a reasonable rate for our dog staying with us. Noise level was low. Overall this was a great deal. We would stay here again.

Good location if you want to visit the old town, although there where roadworks going on, the access to the hotel was blocked and no signs how to reach the motel. Room was clean, staff friendly, breakfast not worthy the name

Terrific location when the major construction on Center Street is completed. A bit of a nuisance now. Walking distance to Old Town when it's not too hot. For the price, I was very impressed with the room, tidy, clean all the amenities I needed. Grounds are exclusively devoted to parking, so no nice shady spot to sit and relax outdoors. But I would definitely stay again, using it as a base for exploring the area around ABQ. Great value.

Room Tip: Doubt there's much difference....typical "drive-up" Route 66 motel, of an age.

First of all, the staff is very friendly and it's easy to locate. Plenty of food options within short walking and driving distances. There is a ton of construction going on in old town, so be aware of that. The parking is somewhat limited so if you arrive late in the evening, you might want to expect that. They accept dogs, which is one of the main reasons why I chose them. My room had a fridge and microwave which I think is rare and was a nice touch. No carpet, so that's smart. Unfortunately I was given a room right by both the ice machine and the stairs that led to the second floor. Wasn't the smartest to put us there considering I had my dog, so anytime someone used the ice machine, he was bothered as most dogs would be trying to "defend and protect" their space. Plus people were pretty loud outside the hotel doors and while using the stairs, so if you're looking for some place quiet, this may not be it. That's not the motel's fault, but it is something to consider if that would bother you. It worked fine as a one night stay as I was just stopping in Albuquerque along my drive up to Colorado.

We have stayed at this hotel twice this year, once in May and last week. We love it here. It is very close to The Explora and Museum of Natural History and it is walking distance to the zoo and aquarium. Both times we have stayed in room 103 and it is very clean. We love staying here because they have a good cold or hot breakfast (sausage, eggs, waffles, bacon along with cereal, muffins, bagels, yogurt and assorted juices.) And throughout the day there is fruit and lemonade in the lobby. There is a Walgreen's very close by in case you forgot something and there is a convenience store/gas station next door. Next to that there is a McDonalds (in case you have picky little ones) and next to that there is a Subway, chinese food and a DQ across the street, all walking distance. The staff here is AMAZING and friendly. Check in and check out are quick. We cannot really say enough about this staff, they really go out of their way.
