Obviously I really enjoyed my dinner. The delicious blend of fresh cool and crunchy bean sprouts and lettuce (maybe some cucumber too ?) mixed with perfectly al dente rice vermicelli, a little salty fish sauce, freshly cooked succulent shrimp and small bites of crunchy juicy egg rolls all gently tossed together was ecstatic, especially after a week of very good N.M. mexican food.. Three of us had this magnificently simple meal and one other member of our party had fragrant chicken curry with rice. She said it was fabulous too ! If I lived in Albuquerque I would be there at least once a week for the food. The atmosphere is 1990's "budget" nice with typical Asian decor (thankfully restrained). The entry area is a bakery/deli, in contrast to the dining room - but not bothersome. If the furnishings and location were bumped up, Le Bistro would be raking in the dough. In the humble "strip mall" where it is currently located the price is very low for the high quality of the food and the excellent service. If you like simple, fresh, delicious asian food - at a great value, this is your place.

This is such a pretty place. When you walk in the door - you are in the bakery/sandwich/take out area. There are tables to sit in this area that are very nice. But, you can walk through the doorway to your right into a pretty, red dining room. The dining room is borderline elegant with black and red tables and booths and white tablecloths.

In the dining room, you can order a variety of Vietnamese dishes: pho, bun bo hue (a favorite of mine), vermicelli bowls, rice platters, clay pots, spring rolls and a variety of Chinese dishes as well.

The bakery has a nice selection of steamed, fried and baked desserts, boba teas and smoothies -- and bahn mi. They make sandwiches to take out or eat in. They have a nice variety, too!

Six of us had an early dinner. Grilled pork was delightful. Pho was scrumptious. Egg rolls were a great way to start. Highly recommend this place.
