The folks who run this place were very kind and lovely! The unit I stayed in was a verrry nice place, clean, warm, very well kept and the soak in the tub after the glacier visit was absolutely super ! The outside looks very basis but the inside is fabulous !!

Unit was spacious and well appointed. I loved the little extra touches like salt and pepper. Staff friendly and helpful and the location is excellent! Great value and look forward to going back one day!
I really enjoyed my four night stay in an Executive Studio. I enjoyed the gas fire, spa bath, and little courtyard with a view straight into the forest. The kitchenette was a bit small but was equipped with all of the basics. The hostess was friendly and made me feel welcome. I would definitely stay here again. I do wish though that more hotels (including this one) would use duvets with covers rather than separate layers, the top one of which clearly isn't washed very often.
Stayed here for one night whilst doing a South Island road trip. The unit was very spacious, clean and comfortable with everything we needed! The hostess was amazing with exceptional customer service skills! (out of all the accommodation around the South Island that we visited the hostess here was the only one who actually took us to our unit, showed us around and made us feel extremely comfortable and was very insightful!) would defo recommend and stay here again ❤️
A nice motel complex with upper and lower rooms. Spacious and very clean. Our ground floor unit opened to a small private court yard, a nice place to sit on a warm sunny day . There was some noise of people walking on floor of upper unit but not unduly bothersome. Good value.
Stayed 3 nights in a one bedroom unit - clean, spacious, comfy bed and nice balcony for sunny breakfasts. Very handy to restaurants and the Franz Josef village. Great host. Thankyou and hope to come again!
