My wife booked this stay for monster jam with our young kid since all the hotels near monster jam were a similar price. The idea was that being in the middle of the city with restaurants nearby would be nice.

I was looking at some of the reviews beforehand and was curious what I’d see with seemingly lots of great reviews and several negative.

My take after staying there a night is that it meets expectations and is fine/good. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the check-in receptionist friendly, shower nice, etc. For the price/location, I think overall it’s pretty fair. Keep in mind the valet parking was another $60, but I can kind of see why with all the valets they had running back and forth.

Breakfast was fine/good, not great.

I will say relating to something that this hotel can’t control but is part of the reason people book it and this relates to its location. It might just be me but the area felt a little dead from what I had experienced (esp for a Sat night) in years past. Again maybe it was just me getting older or something or an anomaly. The hotel can’t control this but just an observation.

It’s a convention hotel, that has seen better days. The only thing going for it, are the views. I had a very high room and the views were spectacular. My bathroom was tiny, maybe because it’s a circular hotel. Food from room service was average, service from staff was average to disappointing, from front desk, bar to bellman. And the room was worn.

The rooms are small and the bathrooms are even smaller. As a solo traveler this was not an issue, however, if I was traveling with my family this would have been a deal breaker. The breakfast buffet was over priced and sub par in comparison to the Signia Hotel (go there instead). The employees were great and super attentive.

The hotel is very good but its frond service is not very good. We had to go twice to get the electronic key made.One was that we returned at 1:30 am and it didn't open and we went down from the 36th floor, and the other at 1:45 pm and the lady said you have a balance from the restaurant and I paid it. But I think they have to lock the door if there are still two days left to leave the hotel. They could have called my room and told me and I didn't lock the door, that disappoints me about this hotel

We had a few problems at this hotel. We booked 2 rooms connecting. My husband and I went to the gym. The kids said they heard someone come in, flush the toilet and leave. When I got back I noticed our bar of soap missing.

The gym was pretty large. They have a free yoga class on Wednesday at 6:30am.

We asked for a wake up call at 6:30 & 6:45am. We got neither.

The phone in out connecting room started beeping at 2am! It would not stop! Woke all of us up!

Hotel is nice, view was great. Room was small, was a weed hot box, had a misc. refrigerator in the middle of the room directly in the way. One of the reasons we booked was so the kids could see the view from the top. Nope that's extra! A lot extra.
I was a walk-in booking. Staff quoted a specific $$ that would be charged to my credit card. My specific question was what is the "TOTAL" amount my card will be charged. Would not print me a copy when i booked. Felt i was in good hands and could trust an employee at this establishment. Of course this is America and you can trust noone on their word. Shame on me, but of course the amount charged to my card was 20% more than quoted. Contacted the hotel, and they were like meh, your card was charged what was shown on the folio. No $h*t, the folio didn't match what I was verbally quoted. Also, note there's a $60/night parking fee which isn't a secret, but salty. Unless you are willing to park somewhere else near in the hood.

Room tip: Be ready to get rolled $$.
