There are a lot of very negative reviews of this resort and I was feeling a bit uneasy.
On arrival we were welcomed by the wonderful Barbara, who spoke very good English and was very helpful and caring throughout our visit.Well done Barbara.
Some reviews have tried to compare this with Caribbean,if you want the Caribbean then don’t come as it’s typically Italian.
Most hotels I’ve visited in Italy are a little bit old fashioned and the rooms are usually on the functional side, but this is part of the charm of Italy. The rooms are decorated in Sardinian style, rugs on the wall, stone cold floors, wooden cupboards.
I found all the staff to be helpful and friendly, all spoke enough English to understand me.
The beach is a bit small but there was more than enough beds to go round, the sea is crystal clear and full of fish.
The grounds are hilly but there is a bus that runs every 20 mins around the resort, and lots of staff stopped to offer us a lift if they saw us walking.
The all inclusive bar did a variety of drinks,my wife drinks Martini and Brandy which is included.Several different types of coffee and juices.English Tea with milk, staff very friendly.
I enjoyed the food in the restaurant, lots of pasta dishes, nice soups, cheeses, fresh fruit, burgers, roast beef, chicken, rabbit, chips, burgers, what’s not to like.
So all in all a nice typical Italian resortMore
