We have made a trip to Boston for a 10 day trip. We are in our 70’s and were feeling uncomfortable about staying in a hotel during Covid-19. The hotel has made it very safe, kept social distancing, and their breakfast was in a safe environment and made it very easy to take it back to your room. Our room is spacious, clean, and well appointed. The personnel at the front desk were courteous and helpful.

Stayed here for one night during the COVID lockdown but enjoyed it. Fantastic location that is walkable to lots of restaurants, bars, shops and sights. Typical large rooms with kitchens and big bathrooms found at Residence Inn. Quick walk across the river and you’re right in Boston proper. I’d stay here again. Very friendly staff and even the General Manager John was helping work the desk.

Jonica and Djenie at the front desk made me feel like family. I told them it was our first time to Boston and they gave me huge smiles and warm hellos. I looked forward to seeing them every day of my trip. Thank you for having such professionals who go above and beyond to make me feel welcomed!

Perfect hotel for visiting MIT Media Lab, just a short 5 minute walk away. I stayed here at the end of January for two nights on a business trip. On the first night, when I inquired about tax exemption for government travel, the gentleman at the front desk mentioned I needed to fill out a form. I told him I had trouble finding it online and asked if he could print it out for me. To quickly summarize his response, it was no. On the second night, I asked Joseph about restaurant recommendations in Boston. He went above and beyond and even printed me a menu for the restaurant. When I casually inquired about the tax exemption again, he mentioned the form as well as government travel orders being sufficient and took care of me. Although the level of knowledge varied between staff members, I'm glad there was somebody who could help me out. Another staff member (my apologies for not catching your name) gave me a 2 pm late checkout that night. The next day when I returned to the hotel at 1 pm after a half day work event and inquired about a one-hour extension to my late checkout so that I could take a shower prior to heading to the airport, she graciously honored my request. Thank you Residence Inn staff for taking care of me. I will definitely be back for a future stay!

Enjoyed a double suite as couldn't find a single and the rate was fair.
One of the most spacious rooms in terms of squared meters and clean, a fully equipped kitchen, and even a nice treat - microwaved popcorn packet.
The design is a bit outdated, if you look for trendy try the next hotel up the street, the other Marriott.

Dear dalmoz,

Thank you for recently staying with us and for taking the time to let us know about your stay. I’m glad to know that you enjoyed the amenities that our suites have to offer, especially the popcorn!

Thanks for the feedback about the style/design of the suite. I am in the beginning stages of planning our next Hotel renovation. Your comments are most helpful and will be captured into our planning template as a critical way of understanding our guests’ needs.

Happy New Year to you and best wishes for a healthy and prosperous 2020. I hope we may have a chance to welcome you back again.

Kind regards,

John Wilmoth, General Manager
