Beautiful room with a great bed in this elegant, quiet, and centrally located Harvard Square hotel. We looked out the window to see professors in their crimson robes dining in the courtyard. We didn’t feel that the nightly cost was well outside the value. Should have had other services included in the cost such as valet parking and breakfasts. Also alarm clock in room went off at 4:30 am and 5:15aam. Should have been cleared by staff

outlets in the correct place reasonable lighting sufficient counter space in the bathroom, excellent location for walking and exploring Cambridge and the Charles River fabulous restaurant in the hotel unfortunately the bed was too soft and the bedding too heavy for my good nights sleep

We stay here whenever in the Boston Metro area. The location can't be beat! Harvard Square/Cambridge in the front and the Charles River with walking/running paths in the back. And if you eat ultra-clean, Henrietta's Table is perfect! The Charles Hotel is five-star amenities with a casual, happy feel. We also love the farmer's market on Sunday mornings. The truth - we'd like to just move in here forever!

Need to be more careful with room maintenance. The wine list and food selection at Noir is not at the right level for The Charles Hotel, particularly when you miss the schedule lunch or dinner hours. The cappuccino at Henrietta's was not good. Need to pay a little more attention to this details.

Lovely hotel but a little crazy due to the drop off of lots of college students. Noir closes a bit early for Friday nights - we would have stayed longer if open. Overall, we are always try to stay at the hotel when in Cambridge.
