I came to Milan for the 2018 mido and I was looking for an accommodation early reachable from the venue. Abacus is on the same tube line as the fiera di Milan. Very clean 4 star hotel that completely deserves it's rating. Also I'd say that it's very cheap, compared to other places I've been before. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Our main target of staying in this hotel was Ice Synchro skating tournament near Hotel. If you travel to Milan like tourist this hotel is little bit outside town and maybe you will not choose this hotel. If you come with car in Milano this hotel is great hotel for you. Hotel is near autostrada. You not need to drive inside town. Hotel have private parking garage. Stuff on front desk is very friendly. Room is big, comfortable and clean. Breakfast can be better. Hotel is located only 50 m from metro station and you need only 20 minuts from hotel to Duomo with metro. Very simple and easy to reach all Milano attractions. What must be better? WIFI is free but if you are lucky to connect do not expect some great speed. WiFI must be better.

A nice hotel with walking distance from the Metro station Sesto San Giovanni .

This hotel suits the bill it is a nice hotel with great ambiance and most importantly a good value for money . It is great for the avid travelers who travel more not to spend too much too .

Breakfast is free ( depend upon your choice at reservation ) and the food is also not too costly in the restaurant for dinner .

Parking is available and the staff are very professional . You can soak yourself in the swimming pool it is complementary .

Overall a nice experience .

P.S: I will advise all the travelers to Milan to stay outside the city center and take take trains to commute . You can take a 1-day ( or multi day ) pass and travel to and fro to all the site seeing .

Esteemed Client,
You wrote <I work as a flight attendant for a well known international airline>
But one can fly Emirates or Ryanair. Service is dramatically different, and so are ticket prices. Any extra is free onboard Emirates, but has a cost on Ryanair.
Consider that Abacus is Ryanair. You paid € 73 for a double room on new years’ eve in Milan.
I strongly reccomend that next time you choose a five stars Hotel. Your expectations are very high, so will be the Hotel rates. By the way: they started from € 300 for 2018 new year's eve in Milan.

Concerning the insults which you supposedly received at our Reception desk, well our clerks have, let us say, a different perspective on both your attitude, and our Front Office manager’s attitude. I also spoke with the Housekeeper.
But, as the proverb goes, the Client is always right. Good for you.
I would like to finish with a personal note: we won’t miss you if you do not come back.
Regards. The manager, the housekeeper, the front office manager

My husband and I checked in on the 30 December 2017 at Abacus Hotel in Milan in the area of San Giovanni. We had a pleasant check in experience at 2:30pm with a gentleman (wearing glasses) working at reception. He was kind and cordial. We had a nice room which was clean. The staff at the hotel were polite. The morning my husband and I were checking out, on the 2 January 2018, the manager on duty (a lady) working at the time of 9:30am (whom refused to give her name when I asked for it) was extremely rude. When I politely enquired, why was it not stated on the hotel website, guests have to pay for towels and shower caps when they require use for it in the morning prior to checking out? Instead of giving me a valid reason , the manager only said “hotel rules”. She put the phone down without saying goodbye or apologising for her despicable behaviour. She shouted at me during our conversation, not giving me the chance to speak. She insulted me and called me rude.We were not even given complimentary coffee sachets, when we requested for it that morning prior to check out .The hotel ruined it’s reputation because of the callous attitude of it’s manager. The hotel claims be a 4 star hotel but some of it’s employees lack the quality and etiquette. I work as a flight attendant for a well known international airline and I am acquainted with hotel standards and etiquette. I would not recommend this hotel to guests because of the various hidden charges. My husband and I wasted our money at this hotel. Abacus Hotel can be sure, we will not be going back there again. Go to a place where customer service is the focus of the hotel.

Consider that our Hotel is a low cost carrier.
I strongly reccomend that next time you choose a Hi end Hotel. Your expectations are very high, so will be Hotel rates.
