Amazing views. An easy hike with just a natural beauty and splendor. One of the top sites to visit in Iceland. A must do on the list.

We did a tour with east west tours and our guide Leroy was great !
Fabulous sights to see and a knowledgeable, friendly guide !
Recommend walking under the waterfall but prepare for wet such as good shoes and waterproof coats or poncho.
Good refreshments at this stop !
iceland is blessed with many waterfalls. this one is not the best of them, but still it is very nice, especially because the possibility to go behind the falls.
Amazing. DO THE LITTLE WALK TO Gljufrabui. It is only 15 mins and super worth it. Both waterfalls are glorious and pretty close to the best I saw in Iceland, only behind Mjulagifjur Canyon (which is a much longer hike) and Dettifoss (which is up North). For the South, this is a must.
A beautiful spot with several waterfalls within a few minutes walk of each other. The falls allow for visitors to walk in behind them which looks pretty awesome. There were plenty of people using the well trodden path to enjoy the unique 'behind the falls' perspective.
I never bothered. It looked as though you'd get wet from all the spray and I didn't fancy getting wet. Good though. There are restrooms at the car park and souvenir shop and small cafe too. Well worth a look when visiting the island.
Worth going there and enjoy visiting the waterfall. We took many pictures, and enjoyed the beautiful place..........
