There is a an old scale in the foyer with a playful sign on it that says that if you gain weight eating there, they will refund you twice the amount you gain. Au Goûter Breton is eccentric and a delightful place to dine with the whole family. There are checkered table cloths on the tables and old posters, pictures, and nic-nacs adorn the walls. (Check out the shelf with cans of "Saucisse de Hamster" hahaha!) We were there for crêpes and they were scrumptious. I had the tomate, champignon, and emmenthal (tomato, mushroom, and cheese) for dinner and a flaming "Marie Galante" for desert. They also have a good selection of cidre. Great fun!

Great little crêperie. Really enjoyed the food. Wouldn't have found it without Tripadvisor but really glad we did. Good selection of savory and sweet crêpes. Reasonably priced.

One the most original and cute places you can possibly find in the region. Delicious cider, all kinds of crepes and a very pleasant atmosphere. Regional products are available to purchase. Try to get a table in the back patio.

Visited for lunch. Welcoming and child friendly.

Quite funky and surf themed and full of locals, always a good sign. Quite empty at 12.45 but pretty packed by 1.30 so go early.

Wide selection of crepes, Reconmend emmental and mushroom and 'complet' for savoury and the chocolate and extra butter excellent desert.

Full list of local cidres. I went for a cup, which was plenty for lunchtime.

Service friendly and total bill for 5 crepes and drinks €23, which worked out at under a tenner each.

A good find

Thank David W

A brilliant venue. Leave your pretentions at the door, but be sure that your taste buds and appetite follow you in. What a great atmosphere, a real local eatery with posters and cartoons on the walls, comfortable and friendly, like the service. Well attended by local families, the best sign of a good spot to eat. Two ranges of crêpes, savoury for a main course, sweet for desserts, each type abailable with a wide variety of fillings. We started with a Kir Breton (Cassis with cider), then my main was with a filling of ham, mushrooms and Emmenthal cheese, my wife's being Steak (burger), onions and Emmenthal. Don't mistake these crêpes for the stodgy sort you usually get in Britain, these are made from Buckwheat and are super-thin, crispy and delicious as a slim surround to the filling. We accompanied our savoury crêpes with a generous glass of Bodeaux each. We followed with a shared crêpe flambé of the sweeter variety, using Calvados to provide the flavouring and the flame - utterly delicious and my wife would have ordered a second! A satisfying meal, full of flavour, really great. We have eaten at several Crêperies elsewhere throughout Brittany, but none yet have come close to the taste sensation offered by these beauties. Not fine dining, but very, very, very good grub. The bonus was the bill, a total of only 31.50 Euro all-in! Fantastic.
