Me and my partner parked in mili ston and went up the wall wall that way towards ston.you can do either way.
We read the reviews that the parking was a nightmare in ston and expensive , the Car park in mili ston was big and was half empty when we arrived and left. Was only 15 kuna for 3 hours 5 kuna an hour so it's worth parking there!
The entrance to the walls where 70 kuna per adult and its a proper ticket with a scan code on it. Had a perfect little day make sure you bring water and trainers!! Trainers are a must!

Certainly worth doing for the views alone, not to mention the historical significance, but be prepared for step vertical stair climbing!

I didn’t know what to expect when I visited this site, however I was instantly impressed by the length of the walls. It is hard to imagine all the work that went into them. They are very simply built and not in very good shape, but the views from the highest walls are beautiful. Bring plenty of water with you and expect a good hike as it is more steep than I thought it would be

Ston, well-known for its saltpans and oyster farming, is an hour
away from Dubrovnik. The city walls was a great architecture feat. It is the second longest in Europe after Hadrian’s Wall in UK. It was built since Middle Ages as a defensive wall to protect the city and the saltpans.

There was a small entrance fees to climb the wall. We took a shorter route as we had limited time. The climb was a little steep but not very taxing with handrails. We were blessed with very fine weather on the day of visit. The views overlooking the town and the saltpans was beautiful. It was well worth a climb.
