Apartment is very big, great for families. However it is located on top of a STEEP hill making it rather tiring to walk up especially with skis. The facilities are good though and offers a great view of the mountain/village and ski slopes

Being here for the Ötztaler Radmarathon I found this place more than perfect.
Nice and friendly personnel (Madeline knows what is hospitality!!), is located on top of this nice small village with mountains all around you. Silent and superb for resting any time of the day, it's an ideal start point for bike rides (road or mountain) or trails walk.
The apartment is fully furnished (really nothing is missing), rooms are big and very comfortable.
For sure it deserves another visit...

Accommodation was spotless and very well furnished. The views were wonderful and wifi was also good. Staff were extremely helpful and booked airport transfers for us. Televisions in each bedroom, which had English channels. Close to restaurants, but a steep uphill walk back to the apartment. Would probably be easy to ski closer to the apartment when there is more snow.

Room Tip: Rooms have either mountain or town view. Both great in their own ways.

We have skied in Austria many times and have stayed in a variety of five-star hotels. We chose this self catering accommodation as the 7 course gala meals at the hotels were wasted on our children.
The transfer driver found accommodation easily. We arrived late after nightfall, no one was at reception however an envelope was left at the reception desk with our key cards in it and instructions on parking (which we didn't need).
We entered the accommodation and were taken aback by its sheer size, 2 large bedrooms and kitchen, superb balconies, 2 bathrooms and all finished to a very high, modern standard.
A complimentary bottle of wine was a thoughtful gesture and went down very well after a long day travelling.
We met Michaela the next morning, she almost single-handedly is responsible for the day-to-day runnings of the accommodation. She was an absolute angel. It was Sunday morning and the supermarkets were closed, she sourced milk for our children immediately. She was always there if we needed her.
To be greeted by her smile may be a small thing that it does make your vacation immensely more pleasant.

The location is perfect, it's a steep hill down to the ski school, ski hire and main gondola. It's a little difficult lugging your skis back up the hill but see it as training for your ski legs! There is a ski and boot room next to the apartment.
The apartment kitchen is well stocked with a wide variety of utensils, most importantly an espresso maker with abundant capsules.

The steam and sauna room is standard size, clean and well maintained. The relaxation area is small for no more than 2 or 3 people at a time.

My only criticisms are that the steam and sauna would benefit from starting earlier in the day (after lunch would be perfect) as skiing gets a bit slushy in the afternoon and we often take the afternoon off.
The children would have loved to have been able to use the hotel swimming pool, perhaps that should be an option in the future.

Overall this place is a gem, it is luxurious, finished to a very high standard and is perfect in terms of location. This is champagne ski accommodation at its best!

We will definitely be coming back next year.

My husband and I stayed here for one week 21st-28th March 2017. We were in a Studio de Luxe on the ground floor which we found spacious, comfortable and private. Inside the flat there is a kitchen area with a single sink, a full size oven, a microwave, a toaster, an electric kettle, a coffee machine, a full size fridge-freezer and an electric hob with 4 burners. There are pots and pans, basic cooking utensils and tableware. There are no pantry items apart from salt and pepper and capsules for the coffee machine, so bring basic items like condiments and cooking oil if you plan on cooking (I have no problem with this, just mentioning this for others' benefit). On the other side of the kitchen is a sitting area with a sofa and a large wall mounted TV, with a 4-seater dining table in between the kitchen and the sitting area. The TV is situated so that it can be watched from both the dining table and the sofa. There is another TV in the bedroom.

It is not really a studio, in the sense that there is actually a bedroom with a door. I would call this a one bedroom flat.

Prior to arrival we were a bit concerned about the "trek up the hill" that was mentioned in many reviews. We got the impression that the location was a significant drawback, and that the place was quite a bit out of the way. In reality, we found the location really convenient. Although not 100%, the location allows for close to ski-in, ski-out. In the mornings we would put on our ski boots in the boot room, then carry our skis up a small distance (about 100m), which admittedly is quite steep, but the steepest parts have stairs. From there we could ski down to the nearest ski lifts and go from there. There is a Spar supermarket next to the lifts too, if you want to pick up supplies, and lots of ski shops in that same area (and a doctor's should you need to visit one). It's all very compact and easy. At the end of the day, we would ski down to the same spot we started at, take off our skis and walk down to the Apartmenthaus.

The only thing that would have made our stay even better would have been a late check-out. We skied on our last day before heading to the airport, and it would have been really convenient to be able to keep our flat until then (around 2:30pm) but we were not able to do so. The building does have a sauna with shower facilities and a loo, which we were allowed to use to freshen up and get changed, though, so we couldn't complain, really.

We found the service courteous and efficient, and loved the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. We are planning to return next year, so much did we enjoy this week.
