Nice staff, delicious food, comfortable beds, clean wellness and great location...
Located close to the slopes and in the Centre but not a single noice at night.
We enjoyed it very much and will be back for sure!

This perfect play to stay. Staff very friendly. Extraordinary food. Good choice of vines with reasonable prices. Nice view from rooms. Modern furniture with a lot of extras from old wooden. 100 m to gondola. 100 m to ski rentals. Ski area - one of the best. Not so crowded. From green to black. Very good prepared!

Room Tip: I was in 314 and was OK

Hotel Gurglhof was fantastic from the moment we entered the hotel to the minute that we left.

The hotel is only a few years old but has a warm, inviting feel. The facilities are modern as you would expect with a such a new hotel but the spa is luxurious but relaxed and the bar is a fabulous way to wind down after a hard day on the slopes. On this point the hotel is only a very short walk to the lifts and really could not be more convenient really.

We enjoyed a half board stay and the quality of the food was first class throughout. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and and dinner consisted of 5 courses every evening, which sounds a lot but the portions ensured that you were never ‘over-faced’ and left feeling stuffed. Half board also entitles you to enjoy afternoon tea between 3 and 5 pm but we only occasionally went in for a drink.

A special mention must go to all the staff whom we met on our visit, from Jens on reception who gave us an amazing welcome to Ritchie in the bar who was a great host every night. We were served by Zolst and Martin for our meals and nothing was too much trouble for them. Every member of staff we met was warm, welcoming and extremely helpful. It made the trip even more memorable.

Overall, I have nothing but praise for Hotel Gurglhof and the staff. We have already enquired about returning in the very near future and we cannot wait to come back.

Thank you for a great stay.

Very luxuous hotel with lovely food and welness.
Wifi everywhere in the hotel. Very quiet!
Skilift at 100 m from the hotel. Very nice ski-area and very familial.
If children are present, there is childcare foreseen,

Only going to stay 2 nights but in the end it turned into 3. Not our choice but we were told road was closed all day, so we would be unable to leave the village. Road did open, but the hotel said we could not cancel our booking for that night,(which they had made!) So don’t always believe what reception tell you.
Other than that our 2 nights stay was great. Hotel is one of the top ones in Obergurgl.
At the far end of the village, very near the ski lift, shops, bus stop. Easy to walk everywhere,As long as not too much snow. Hotel staff excellent, very friendly and helpful. Spa was really lovely, but a bit hot in the rest areas.
Food was delicious with plenty of choice. Afternoon food served, just a shame you had to pay extra for tea and coffee.
Room was very clean and had all you needed other than tea making facilities. Do enjoy being able to make tea or coffee in the room. Also very hot.so window was always open.
A big thank you to the restaurant staff.
