The Hotel is just around the corner from Bourbon St and Canal St. Still a very quiet place. The hotel is modern, peaceful with lavender smell that helps to wind down. Rooms are very nice, clean and spacious.
Super friendly staff, from greeting at the front door to the check in.

Now, special recognition to the Concierge, her name is Helise. She made the best recommendations for tours and restaurants. She provided hints of the city every morning while I had my coffee. Please recognize her on my behave.

Room Tip: ask for rooms with windows facing pool or patio.

This hotel is chic and modern so beautiful and Michael ( from Jamaica) is awesome! He is so kind and welcoming. Great jazz band in the bar. The room was huge and the courtyard and pool areas are beautiful as well.

The hotel is well located. You walk around the corner and you’re on Bourbon Street, yet at night you can’t hear a noise from your room. You can also exit on Canal Street, and half a block away you have streetcar stops. Or you can walk right into the center of the French Quarter, about a ten minute walk away.
Staff is wonderful. You get buffet breakfast on weekends, and you order your favorites the rest of the week, food being quite good.
Only drawbacks: WiFi keeps being cut off, and hotel needs a little renovation.

Nice hotel, good location- around the corner from Bourbon St. & walking distance to French Market area. After reading reviews were booked a courtyard/pool view to eliminate road noise. Upon checking in we were given a balcony upgrade- DON'T TAKE IT. SO NOISY! I knew better but the thought of a balcony was nice. I slept awful the first night that I debated requesting a change however we had already unpacked, were out and about the next morning so I just never did. My only regret and dislike of the hotel. Staff was friendly, rooms were nice. We picked this hotel based on it's location and because it had a pool (we actually changed hotels to get one with a pool) and ends up we didn't even use the pool. There's a Walgreens on the corner so we stocked up on waters and snacks from there. There are a lot of homeless people around the hotel but you're in a major city, there's homeless people everywhere. None of them bothered us and kept to themselves. We did dinner at Dickie Brennens steakhouse, down the street, highly recommend it. Powdered Sugar had a decent buffet on the wknd, nice snacks for a quick morning breakfast (donuts, muffins, pastries...). Hard Rock is located in the hotel as well. Decent enough to grab a drink and quick meal when you're tired.

It's a very clean and comfortable hotel right in the middle of the bustle and hustle of the French Quarter. It's easy walking distance to many places (Bourbon Street, Cafe du Monde, Freeman Street, etc.). The staff at the Powdered Sugar are very friendly as is the reception. One note, the free wifi is very slow. Perhaps it was my room but even at the paid premium level it was rather slow. It was a bit inconvenient with my work but IT support was helpful. Overall, it's a nice hotel to stay in.
