Best hotel I have stayed at in the quarter so far!! The entire hotel was beautiful and the staff was excellent! The man at the front counter was so accommodating and made sure I was taken care of, I believe his name was Chase.

The staff were friendly. That's about the only thing I can say... When we were taken to our 1st room, I really thought we had walked into a 35 dollar a night motel. There was a dirty plate on the side table, and the drawers in said table would not stay closed. Plus there was a window unit air conditioner plugged into a power strip. Dead bugs on the bed spread and mosquitoes everywhere. So,no. We were moved to a different room. This one was marginally better. I've got pictures guys. The carpet is black with dirt. The bedskirts were all askew and it looked like someone peed on the side of it. The bathroom wall had a hole in it. I could go on and on but that should be enough. One more thing, the smoke detector outside our room was chirping and we told them twice, but it was still chirping when we checked out. Not worth the 941 dollars we spent to stay there.

Staff are courteous and professional, they go out of their way to accommodate their guests. First, the buildings are literally 200-300 years old and have been updated to the best of ones ability. If you’re looking for FQ accommodations, this location is ideal, providing you’re not looking for a good nights sleep. Rooms are funky and not really clean. First room was comfortable but carpet was sticky! Room was Right off the street! Loud. They moved us to a cottage, quieter ( until the bars emptied), but wood floors were filthy ( just like the FQ). After a second sleepless night we left a day early. If you don’t mind the noise,$40 a day parking and dirty accommodations. This might be your place.

St. Pierre is located two blocks north of Bourbon St, just far enough away to enjoy quiet evenings, but close enough to be in the middle of the action within minutes. Hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. Hotel rooms are small but cozy and not enough space for microwaves or refrigerators, but bed was very comfortable and room was clean. Attention to maintenance could be improved. Floors in the room were warped in two places making it difficult to open the closet and bathroom doors. This looks like a poor installation where the installer didn't leave enough room for thermal expansion of the floating boards; easily remedied by trimming the floating boards. Stopper was missing in the sink which allows anything smaller than 1.5 inches to drop into the drain; again a simple fix for less than $5. Both room keys were poorly cut and required a fair amount of jiggling and re-alignment to turn in the lock. Light switches in the bathroom gave a small electric shock when turning off the light; likely a loose ground wire. These are all minor nusiances that can be inexpensively fixed. As the owner of rental property, I would not allow these types of maintenance issues to go unrepaired for very long. The provided breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage, and grits was good, nice job on the grits! All in all, St. Pierre provided great ambiance for the French Quarter and I would come back to this property.
