I made a booking via booking.com for August 2016 and I asked the hotel via email to confirm the booking. They didn't reply for one week so I decided to send them a reminder email. No reply again from their side.
Then I sent them facebook messages and finally they replied but the reply was shocking.
I was informed that the hotel is rennovated and the renovation will last at least until August. So why on Earth they are accepting reservations when the hotel is a bulding site at the moment?
For me this is unacceptable. If I hadn't sent several emails to them I would have arrived at the resort and I would have had a big dissapointment.
The resort tried to offer me a room in the resort they are building now - Honai Resort but at 120$ per night when the room booked at Abing was less than 100$.
I found the email sent by the resort unacceptable knowing that they want to take the money of the customers without informing them that the resort can't accommodate them and probably they will move the customers somewhere else.
Be aware if you book Abing not to end up in a more expensive place because the resort is still selling rooms (on agoda for example) that are under renovation.More
