The hotel offers good private villas for stay- clean and well maintained, private pool, lobby with kitchen, TV and DVD players, and a private terrace. The vegetarian food was decent.

Good and guest friendly staff. We got a hike to Mount Batur arranged from the hotel itself, and I must say it was one of the best things I’ve done in Bali.

I’d recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in Seminyak.

Stayed there 6 nights. No complaints with the facility, cleanliness, food, standard of room etc. Five star rating to the employees! Rate it very good value for money.

The pool is reasonably cold, so don't expect to lounge around in it all day.

It is a bit of a walk to the beach and the footpaths in the area are crap. My recommendation is to walk it, then once you have been there done that, hail a BLUE BIRD GROUP taxi. It's on the windscreen. They have meters. The others dont! Super cheap. Like $3-4 to Kuta, $1.50 to the beach. (We caught one to Ubud $22). I paid a tip every time. So just ask the porter to hail a air cond taxi out the front and for five bucks Aussie you are basically taken anywhere.

Also all the fancy mega expensive motels on the beach front allow neatly presented tourists straight in to their facilities. They have the beach access. (Beach access isn't as straight forward as Australia) We just gate crashed all the best beach front bars. Restaurants. Pools. Potato head, ku de ta etc. Etc. While saving on the accommodation.

Recommend Vila Kath Raja as a good base to see Bali from

First time in Bali and staying at Kayu Raja Villa. One bedroom villa with private pool was very clean and had everything you need. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Perfect location.
Our driver Gusti was organised through the villa and was absolutely amazing! He took us wherever we wanted to go and suggested other really cool places as well! Such a beautiful person and we can’t think him enough! Definitely made our time in Bali fun and enjoyable!
