This is a beautiful place and has been overrun by an amazing increase in number of visitors. They have enlarged the parking lot there for making room for tour buses and apparently since people see photographs of this place they want to see it the parking lot is overfilled. I would not recommend this as a place to visit while in page. There are other many more nice places.

Take tons of water with you.
It's free, but it has no visitor center or place to refill your water bottle.
Before you go it's better if you have sun hat, bunch of water bottles, sunglasses and good camera :)
Go before noon. Because how sun shines, you will get a better pic if u get there before 12 pm.

Beautiful and Iconic view that is not far outside of Page. You see the picture everywhere, so it is great to have seen it in person. The only downside is it is crowded and a single view and then you are done. But it is beautiful and unique, so if you are in Page, definitely stop by and take it in.

My suggestions would be to go in the morning or at night because of the heat in Arizona. The views are spectacular. One of the few hikes that is easy that gives a rewarding view.

We stopped by the horseshoe canyon while traveling from the antelope canyon to the Grand Canyon. The horseshoe canyon was a quick short trip and the scenery was beautiful. You have to walk a little less than a mile to get to the actual canyon. It is gated off in some parts and is open in others. The total trip lasted around 60 minutes and we were able to get great pictures.
