Our first stop on the Foodie and Pub tour, shrimp and grits were up. Great place with interesting historical use of the building. A good find when your visiting Savannah.

We ordered one plain flounder and one stuffed flounder. Both were very small and came with an equally small side. The fish were very thin and tasted extremely salty. The bar looks nice and that is the reason why we entered. It is a good place to have a drink, but I would not recommend eating there.

My friends and I took a girls trip to Savannah. We ended up doing a haunted pub crawl, which started here. We decided to come early and eat first. The fried pickles were delicious! We had probably the greatest server I have ever had at a restaurant. His name is Joe. He was so friendly. He gave us suggestions on drinks and foods when asked. He was very personable and funny. He took great care of us! We will be back if we go to Savannah again!

The food was fine but the service was awful. We were told by the hostess that we would have to wait 30 minutes and took our phone number and promised to call  when the table was ready. After waiting outside for about 20 minutes we went inside. Interesting we were seated right away. The phone call never happened. Makes me wonder if the hostess would have actually called us. Twenty minutes later we met our waitress. She didn't know the price of the drinks from the bar, so she gave us her best guess. When the food was finally served (45 minute wait) there were no napkins for silverware. We had to ask for that. Our waitress didn't come back to refill or water or drinks, We had to ask for that also. Just not a positive experience. The restroom was filthy. A big bag of garbage right next to the toilet.

My family and I were looking for somewhere to eat on thanksgiving day, and came across this restaurant while walking around. We LOVED our experience here and our waiter Joe made it even better!! He was extremely kind and made us feel very welcomed. He even spoke a bit of Spanish to my Hispanic family which they loved!!

Overall, I definitely recommend this restaurant!
