We had a myriad of "issues". Let me first say that the hotel is nice and the rooms had a unique set up that utilizes space well. We were placed in a room 1 level above the pool. At 10 pm a middle school baseball team, in town for a tournament, was still whooping it up and making alot of noise. It took 4 calls to the front desk for them to act. We reported our coffee make did not work. Despite being told it would be replaced immediately....it was not. Housekeeping did not replace coffee cups, glassware or dirty towels. Parking was $26 per night. When we went out to explore we found a place around the corner where we could have paid $24 for both nights. No outrageous complaints but still not ideal.

We spent two nights here. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. It included breakfast which was tasteful and plentiful. The only criticism I had was that we had to ask for soap and clean glasses. I would suggest that they create checklists for housekeeping to make sure that they have remembered everything. But that was a small thing. The hotel is very well located, close to the historic district and within walking distance of the riverfront. Marie, the concierge, could not have been more wonderful. She was friendly, well informed and more than helpful in getting us reservations and tour tickets. She was an absolute treasure to work with. We would definitely come back and plan to!

We were looking for a place to stay in the historic section with an affordable price and within walking distance to everything. We stayed on the river last time, this time we wanted to spend more time walking the squares and going to downtown restaurants. Springhill Suites fit the bill. We had a awesome corner room at the end of the hall with two large windows that had darkening shades and blinds. It was quiet both inside and from street noise. The room had a sitting area, bordered by a desk and glass wall. The mini fridge and microwave was by the entrance. Then a large TV sat at between the large sleeping area and sitting area. The rest was a tiled shower room with big soft bath towels and a separate toilet room, both with sliding doors.
There was an entrance to the outdoor pool by our room. The pool was a perfect oasis spot during the afternoon heat. The free breakfast is always a plus. It had the usual eggs, meat, oatmeal, waffles, pastries, etc. The staff was very friendly and they have a full time concierge who was great for advice and directions.

We went to Savannah with another couple for the first time for all of us. Fabulous city! This hotel was perfect. It was a great location near the historic district and walkable to many great restaurants and shops. The rooms were outstanding and so comfortable. The service was very friendly and efficient. Standouts for service were Darrius and Londa. We would stay here again and again. A perfect trip!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in March 2018 because the hotel we normally stay at in Savannah was very expensive that weekend. This hotel is a bit off the beaten path compared to where we normally stay on Bay Street but only required about a 15-20 minute walk down to River Street. Walking the extra distance didn't prevent us from walking around the historic district as usual. Our first room was a disappointment situated near the elevators with our window facing the pool directly, meaning we couldn't open the window if we desired any type of privacy. The next night, after speaking with the front desk, they moved us up a few floors and we had a handicapped accessible room with much nicer views and privacy. Overall, it was a great stay and less expensive than staying on Bay/River Streets.
