I don’t know why, but we took a drive to Whidbey Island and ended up roaming around far beyond the plan. We wanted to check out Anacortes but it got too late. We stumbled upon the Gateway inn phone number and my Husband called. David answered and without treating us like tourists, answered all our questions in a timely and professional manner. We tried to get there and again, had to call David back. He proceeded to answer in a very patient tone and never once showed any thing other than concern for us.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by him. We were accommodated with any and all requests made once again by David. What a awesome gentleman he is. The Navy should be very pleased and proud to have him aboard their establishment.
Great room for the money. Awesome experience!
Upon checkout the next morning, we encountered a lady who also was 100% on top of her game. She gave us directions to Woody’s carwash. Efficient and professional as well. I wish I’d gotten her name. The civilian sector in this industry would do well to take lessons from these people. I cannot say how proud I am to be affiliated with the military. They’ve outdone themselves on this subject. Great job Navy Gateway Inn. 10 stars for you!More
