If you stay at this hotel definitely ask for the 5th floor for what they call “soft renovated rooms. The great receptionist Ariel hooked us up with one and we loved it. Definitely worth the money. Location alone is perfect!

To start, I’m here now and have been for 4 days.
Positive things, nice updated lobby, 10 minuet ealk to Central Park, 5 minute walk to Times Square, subways everywhere, this hotel is in the best location.

Not so good things, room are old, out dated and kinda gross, don’t look under the bed.
The only renovated floor is the 18th.
Housekeeping women are loud in the morning in the hallways, overall a outdated, kinda dirty hotel. When they offer you an upgrade to a balcony room say no. It’s a concrete balcony, no chairs no view as the walls are high. No lounge bar or restaurant, but lots of them outside the hotel.

But overall we are here to enjoy the city and the hotel is just to sleep.
It is in a prime location.

The hotel that takes advantage of their guest’s mistakes. I booked by mistake the date one day prior to my arrival. I called them within minutes of the booking and they weren’t willing to make the correction, taking money for the night I wasn’t there.

Check in was smooth and easy with Ariel. Suggested that we visit empanada mama for dinner and it was an excellent choice. Everything is near the hotel and in walking distance. Subways on every corner as well

My friend recommeded this hotel because of the location. I read some of the mixed reviews and honestly I’m happy I didn’t listen. I was checked in by aerial and expressed my concerns & she gave me a nice room on the 17th fl. So far so good times Sq!
