Huge department store, with all the shopping you will need.
Most brands available, with good discounts always, most of the time more cheaper than the individual stores in the city.
Places to eat in-store, from Pizza and McDonalds, etc.
Subway station is just outside.
Free WIFI.

If you happen to get to Macy's on your trip to NYC, try to get to the Lancome area and ask to see Natalie. She does amazing work with makeup and will find just the right thing for you. She is a valuable asset to the store with her extensive cosmetics knowledge and experience with application.

We had a fun time shopping on every level of Macy’s. 10 floors total including the lower level.
The staff are very friendly. They give a discount (10%) most departments on non sale items if you mention you’re a tourist.

Huge department store over a whole block of midtown Manhattan. Went in with the intention of buying several things, but spent so much time trying to find somebody to take our payment, we gave up in the end. No wonder department stores are in trouble and internet shopping is booming. In terms of a retail experience, Macy’s is pointless.
