If you like art, you need to rush to see the Frick Collection. It's not a huge display of art, but what is there is exquisite. It wasn't very crowded when we visited, so we had an opportunity to really study and enjoy the art presented there. Mr. Frick had a fantastic taste for quality art.

I visited here recently on a trip to NYC. I had really forgotten that the museum has a very nice collection. Compared to some others, the collection on display is relatively small, but the quality is very good. The special exhibit during the period we visited was also very good as they typically are. The museum is a bit more expensive than some, but it is worthwhile. Children may not visit, so this is something to keep in mind. Lastly, the building is also quite interesting in itself.

We visited the Frick a while back and I look forward to returning someday. The mansion is stunning and the collection worth seeing, although the exhibits change. Check out the website. It's a relaxing museum because we didn't feel overwhelmed in that compared to other huge famous museums, it's so much more intimate and the mansion is such a beautiful place to visit on it's own.

Small, manageable museum with a wonderful selection of paintings by world-renowned artists, housed in a mansion on Fifth Avenue.

This collection is something to tick off the bucket list for those who enjoy art. The space and architecture of this magnificent building is the perfect environment for this incredible collection. There is an entry fee of around $22 USD, photos are not allowed, there is a coat check service, however no cafe at this location.
