Just returned from a 3 nites stay from 26-29. May 2016. No regrets for choosing the same Establishment since my last trip in 2013. We had a very warm and friendly welcome from Carlos M. (GSM) on duty that evening. Check-in was fast and efficient. Carlos was very informative and helpful to our request. We appreciate the service which includes a warm sincere smile and such dedication to his Job attitude, which is indeed a pleasant surprise after an 8 hours flight from Switzerland. Housekeeping was great too thru' out our stay. All the rest of the staffs were just as friendly and helpful, but Carlos was exceptionally helpful & friendly. Congratulations to CQ Hotel for having such dedicated employees.

Room tip: Request for upper floor rooms to avoid noise from downstairs bar. The coffee/tea on the house at the Lounge was much appreciated, besides the water dispenser too. The limited storage for clothes could be improved.

I think they used CQ wrong for this location. Certainly should be called close quarters. Between the business man on his sales call, family on conference call with their kids (they are doing well and hope their parents have fun and travel back safe), and finally the couple having - uh - fun... what seemed like on the hour, every hour (yes I'm jealous), it was a little too much for us.

Both of us slept horrible the entire trip. The bed was hard, and the pillow a little too fluffy for her. Neither of us have ever had problems sleeping at a hotel but did at this one.

Wifi was spotty. Couldn't reliably connect on my phone so gave up on it. My tablet didn't seem to have as many problems but also only used once.

Now the good - great location. Close to downtown activities, freedom trail, transportation. Hotel was very clean. The fill your own bottle water was a nice amenity. Convenient to refill your bottle before heading out for the day.

Room tip: Bring ear plugs

In a central place.. can get eateries, south-station in 5 min walk.. but, my friends, corridors and rooms are small.. okay if you are solo.. but not with spouse or with a little kid.. I had to inform them 2 times that wi-fi was not coming steadily on my iphone (they said its working, but then seems re-set it to make it work!).. water / ice and other small stuff is all available freely on the floor I was (2nd).. with enough re-fill bottles.. they have a restaurant adjacent (Elephant & Castle, found it slow in service, though not hotel's responsibility).. some of front staff was nice and polite and friendly.. glad that they gave me umbrellas when it rained.. also liked the free light snacks in the ground floor.. (Apples were not fresh though!)..

Room tip: Street view in higher floors... though it overlooks other buildings again..

Dear Bhaskor, thank you for choosing Club Quarters while staying in Boston. We were disappointed to hear that not all of the service you received exceeded your expectations. Rest assured that I have shared your feeback with the restaurant manager, so we can improve for the future. Also, thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience about the Guest Services team I'm glad to hear we were able to provide a complimentary umbrella, to keep you dry to your destination. We do hope you will again choose Club Quarters during your next visit to Boston.
Best regards,

Conrad McKay
