Given the reviews I had read and the price I paid, I wasn't expecting much. I was nicely surprised at the ease of parking, the decor, of the lobby, the clean smell, and the spacious and decorative room.

Always a pleasure to stay at the Midtown, the room attendants are very accommodating, the front desk staff are always pleasant and helpful. Mark is invaluable to your operation. He helped me with a future booking, and as I waited he assisted another party with a reservation problem, much to their obvious delight. Our son is at a nearby college, and we make a point to tell other parents how enjoyable our stays have been.
This is a very basic hotel. Nothing fancy, but it is clean and comfortable. It is a good value because of the location and the front desk staff was excellent. I would stay here again if I come back to Boston

The light switch did not work when I walked into the room. The toilet kept running. The internet was very weak. My room was changed and it was much better but the internet was still weak. The person who changed my room as very helpful. I have stayed at your place a few times and am in Boston often and based on this last experience, I don't think I would stay there again.
I very much enjoyed my stay at the Midtown. I felt the room cost was more than reasonable and appreciated that I could come to a nearby hospital for a procedure and not regret the cost of staying in the area! The toilet could have been cleaned better (especially the outside) but other than that I have no complaints outside of the usual noise from neighbors banging their doors as they came and went. I believe that is something pretty much out of control of the hotel. I suppose things could be update a bit but all in all I didn't need that. Very clean and good smelling, which is #1 in my book. The free parking was also MUCH appreciated, as I had taxi costs and parking at the hospital.
