I’ve been coming to this Hotel for years and at this point I know some of the staff on a first name basis and they know mine. This time though was the first that I’ve brought my kids (11 and 13). The staff went out of their way to make them feel special and appreciated. We were greeted with big smiles and a welcome back attitude that was was apparent wherever we went. I recognize staff members who have been there for all the years I’ve been coming and they still are there now, just as pleasant as they were twenty years ago. That’s says everything you need to know. This hotel, just like so many other Marriotts around the world, takes care of their staff. They’ve created an atmosphere where the staff feel “a part of” instead of just a part, and in turn you get to feel a part of that family as well I’m a Marriott guy, no question about it, and that makes me biased. But that bias has been earned over the years and this hotel has been a huge part of that. And now thanks to this place my kids are Marriott people as well. Again I say, if your staying in Boston and your not sleeping in the Marriott custom house you really need to ask yourself why.
