Expedia told us that we got an automatic upgrade. They said they could not give that to us because they were full. I went online and realize they had extra rooms then they said I will make up for it and will send up a bucket of beer they set up three random beers in a bucket which one of them was broken and a hard cider the small, small postage stamp rooms, rude customer service parking was two blocks away and expensive. Definitely not worth it. I’d rather spend another $400 and stay at a nice place never will I stay there again and I don’t recommend anyone else to do so either.!

Room tip: Just avoid this hotel altogether it is not worth it on any level!

Dont have a parking garage within the hotel. They have a partner garage with the goverbment and is a walkable distance from the hotel. The receptionist will guide you if you want to avail one. It is a $40 overnight fee. The bathroom is stylish and wide in our room. We availed our room theu supertravel and i could say it is worth it since it is also a walkable distance from the TD garden.

The Boxer was a great last minute find for an overnight in Boston. Check in was a breeze. Our room was comfortable. Parking was nearby and well-priced and the proximity to City Winery was fantastic. We were in Boston to attend a concert and it was about a 5 minute walk to City Winery. We also loved our breakfast!

The Boxer is a very cool boutique hotel, located in the historic flatiron building and so convenient to many attractions. I was in town for an event at a local resturant/pub, followed by an event at a Celtics game at TD Garden. Both locations were just a few minutes' walk from The Boxer, as are iconic sites like Faneuil Hall, The New England Aquarium, The Old North Church, the Museum of Science, and more. There are also convenient T stops just steps from the hotel. The Boxer was built in 1904, and is beautifully restored. My guest room was very clean and well appointed, and the bed was very comfortable. My schedule was tight so I didn't get to enjoy a meal in the on-site restaurant, unfortunately. Customer service was exceptional, from check in to check out. Very friendly and helpful! One additional note - the hotel does not have on site parking, but offers a generous rate through a partnership with the nearby Government Center parking garage. I would highly recommend The Boxer!

If you have a car, parking will be 2 blocks down from the hotel. Its not free but its $40. Stayed for one night. Didn’t know that part until we arrived very late at night. Hotel was great. Always confirm the accommodations they have listed on their website.

Room tip: Avoid during winter season. Its freezing.
