Great stay at this hotel. Upon arrival, valet parking and check-in was efficient (much appreciated after an 8-hr drive in the rain!). The room (corner, city view, king bed) was very comfortable - plenty of room for 2 people for the week, clean, comfy bed, comfy chair. We were on the 9th floor and it was almost eerily quiet with the curtains closed - almost couldn’t believe we were in the middle of a major city!
But, in the middle of everything we were. The location of this hotel could not be more perfect. It’s basically next to Boston Common, walking distance to many of the historic landmarks, close to 2 different subway stations to easily get to everything else, and an Insomnia Cookies is right around the corner. There are lots of bars and restaurants in the area as well.
Staff was great - each and every time we came ‘home,’ the front desk staff welcomed us back (small gesture, but oddly comforting). And, we were greeted with smiles from the rest of the staff as well.
Our new favorite place to stay in Boston - we will definitely be back.More
