I really wanted to like this hotel, so bummed it fell short. There is a STRONG need for customer service training. Our check-in, while pleasant, was not well informed. Our check out - well, someone came out to attend to us with a mouth full of food and apologized because we caught her mid-breakfast. So odd. and unprofessional. The rooms are a decent size, but closets are tiny and there was only one luggage rack - I asked for another one at the front desk, and they forgot. They kept sending me texts about my stay, and so I reminded them about the rack, but asked them not to bring it as we were going to take a nap. Then they replied they would bring it right up -despite my asking them not to. Again, just the customer service angle was off. The location of the hotel is fantastic, but the downside is the bar has really limited hours - opens at 5pm on a Saturday afternoon, and closes at 10:30pm. It made it impossible to have an afternoon drink after sightseeing, or to have a nightcap after dinner. There are plenty of watering holes in Boston, for sure, but sometimes you want the hotel bar.
