I stayed at this hotel for almost a week while attending a conference at the end of October / beginning of November.

Despite my concerns from previous reviewers re room size, I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms. The first night the room was super dingy with no natural light, however it was large and well equipped. I was moved to a room at the front of the hotel on the 6th floor for the remainder of the week, and this was much nicer if smaller.

My main and big disappointment was with the staffs attitude...

When I arrived, I handed in a bag of laundry which included jeans, shirt and a Marino wool sweater. When I collected later in the day, the jeans and shirt were greasy with fabric softener, almost like they hadn’t been rinsed, and the jumper was two sizes smaller having been machine dried and shrunk! I complained to the staff and she apologised and said she would discuss with the manager. Three days later after hearing nothing, I asked if there was news... the reply was.... yes, we wash and dry, not our fault. I asked why they didn’t follow the label instructions, and was told they just wash and dry everything and it was tough luck, they will let me off the charge!

My issue is that I had to chase them, I got No apology, no offer the replace the item and just got a ‘we don’t care’ attitude from the staff who seemed to suggest it was my own fault!

It was a £60 jumper, not a big deal, but it definitely spoilt my view, and I won’t stay hear again on the back’ of it.

WARNING, don’t have them do your laundry and don’t expect a good service if things go wrong!

Oh and the bar makes you pay, you can’t charge anything t9 your room!

Location is near the MTA and shopping. But we would recommend some place closer to Faneuil and Quincy Market. Carpets were dirty. Dar, dingy room and bathroom. Hard pillows. Comp breakfast is all carbs. Staff was just okay. TV sound system was poor. We just didn't enjoy our stay.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Rooms had key entry which was such a lovely throwback. Reception is a little slow, but very friendly. Room was a bit small, but I had no intention of staying in my room as the hotel is in a perfect location right near copley square, the public library and Newbury street. You're right down the street from the prudential building, and a quick walk away from the Charles. Only issue for me was the sheets made me itchy, but I have super sensitive skin, so this is not an uncommon issue for me with hotel sheets.

Lets start by saying that this was a business trip and the hotel was booked by the company. Upon arrival the first reaction is that you are entering a bar/lounge establishment and not really a hotel. The quickest access to your room as one single elevator that opens to a very narrow and small hallway. All rooms are open by a single physical key attached to a metal piece with the room number. Room was very tight with almost no space to walk around. Strangely it seems that the bathroom has more space than the room itself. The bathroom sink was outdate and with a crack on it. I like the fact that you can have your won ambient music on both room and bathroom. One single window that faced the back alley and the rear of the building behind with little to none sunlight coming in. The beds were really hard an you can hear everything happening on the rooms above and next to you. OK breakfast was provided, with beagles, coffee and some orange juice. It is located almost in front of the finish line of the famous Boston Marathon. This Hotel is great for those that are planning to sight seeing and not planing on spending too much time in the hotel. Lots of historical places within walking distance and great and affordable places to eat near by.

Room tip: good luck with that.

This is a small, converted warehouse just across from the old Boston Library. It is hard to find, on the left side of a one way street, the only signage is on the flat front of the building, behind some umbrellas for restaurant seating. It is within walking distance of almost everything. The underground access is just across the street, making even more of the town available. The hotel is clean and quiet. They offer a continental breakfast, not very good, but it does have coffee and juice. The staff is very friendly and helpful with any questions you may have. Parking is in a public ramp a couple of blocks away, so we pulled up to the hotel, brought our things in (they do not have a luggage cart) and then parked the car. It all worked out quite well.
