This is my second time visiting Boston and decided to try out The Bostonian Hotel. My expectations were immediately met as soon as I arrived. The property is in the best location, which is just steps away from Quincy Market. The hotel also supplies complimentary water bottles at the front desk which is extremely convenient on your way out and in. The restaurant and service downstairs were also fantastic. I will be choosing this hotel for future visits.

A great hotel at the perfect Boston location! Enjoyed walking around Quincy Market and nearby restaurants. Nick at check in was helpful with suggestions for dinner. We enjoyed our stay at The Bostonian! The free water is a really nice perk!

Just spent 4 nights at this hotel. The location is great. That is about the only great thing about it. Oh wait, the beds are comfortable.
For a 4 star hotel it is lacking a lot. First of all, no refrigerator or microwave in the rooms. If you want a microwave you go the the 3rd floor and use the public one, that is also where the only ice machine is.
Never found a vending machine. There was only one working elevator, it appears the other elevator has been down for a few months.
The front desk staff was very polite. They offered bottle water in the lobby for 2 days, then it all disappeared; again with no vending machines you have to walk to a store and buy your own.
For what you pay to stay here it is way overpriced.
I guess you are paying for the location since there are not many other choices if you want close to the North End and other sites.
Very disappointed.

We really appreciated the free bottled water and the use of umbrellas when it rained the entire last two days of our stay. Room was clean and quiet. Great location - close to North End, Quincy Market, Boston Harbor and the trains.

Room and hotel was very, very clean in places that mattered - beds and bathrooms. Staff was all very helpful and it is a great location if Faneuil hall and north end are some of the top places you want to visit. We also walked to the south end and all around the commons. Well located.

That being said, hotel desperately needs a refurbishment. Lots of weird stains and scratches all over the place. I mean like every surface is stained or scratched in some way. However I would probably stay there again if the opportunity came up and it was priced as well as it was this weekend (couple hundred a night cheaper than every other place!)
