The Bostonian is a wonderful hotel with the perfect location for exploring Boston. The General Manager, Rob Rosenblatt, has done a wonderful job managing this property.
Every member of the staff I encountered was knowledge, friendly and able to assist me. Particularly, Gabriel, the Chief Concierge who helped me find the perfect dinner spot for my son's 16th birthday. The hotel itself has lovely amenities and homey small touches such as hot chocolate in the lobby on a cold winter afternoon.

Deb and Marc,
It is very meaningful to hear your amazing comments about our fantastic property. As you noticed we do many things to make our guests feel special and welcomed! The hot chocolate is perfect this time of year and if you join us in the summer we have lemonade! Throughout our gorgeous property there are touches like this everywhere! Staying with us will allow you to enjoy all of them, but as you mentioned that is not the reason to stay here. The reason has to be our incredible staff, they are the best you could ever find! From Rob, the GM to every department, our staff care about you and their only concern is keeping you safe and happy. As you had the joy of experiencing their knowledge and expertise are limitless. Should you ever have an issue from searching for hotels till years after check-out we are there for you.

Thank you for staying with us for something as special as your son's 16th birthday! We are honored!

Had made plans with friends to meet at Faneuil Hall in Boston for dinner recently. As it got closer to the date my wife and I decided to make a night of it and looked for a nearby hotel to stay the night. The Bostonian fit the bill perfectly! Right across the street from North Market Building where the restaurant was located. Having never stayed there before we were looking forward to it. We were not disappointed. Right off of 93 North at exit 23, Government Center. Valet parking provided at $49 per night. There is also a large public parking Garage right across the street as well should you wish to park your own car. I had booked a standard room on Priceline for $179 plus tax and fees. The Bostonian has just recently gone thru a renovation and it show'd as soon as you walk in. Bright modern lobby and check in desk with free hot chocolate provided with marshmellows and chocolate chips. Our room was located on the 5th floor and had an EXTREMELY comfortable king size bed, sitting area with foot stool, mini bar and snack drawer for purchase, and a lovely floor to ceiling window overlooking Haymarket and the North End. Bathroom had a makeup area our front separated from the bathroom by a pocket door. Bathroom itself was very well appointed with a large walk in shower with both hand and wall mounted shower heads. Overall appearance of room was one of clean, and upscale. Great value for rate paid. There is a restaurant/bar on site that serves breakfast and dinner. Wife partook of breakfast the next morning and had banana bread french toast with crispy bacon. She loved every bite. All staff members encountered were friendly, professional, and helpful. We highly recommend the Bostonian as location is everything and the Bostonian is in the heart of it all.

Room tip: higher floors will give a much better view

Bill,
It sounds like you you made the right choice! You really can score some great deals this time of year and we have had fairly decent weather to thoroughly enjoy Boston. Our hotel is absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway. We make you feel "away". When you settle down in your room you know you are somewhere special! The rooms are distinctly Boston and not cookie cutter like those large chains. Everything we do is geared toward the Boston spirit. As a local from Plymouth for the past 4 years you know the culture and how awesome it can be getting to know the people around here! Our staff of hard working Bostonians try very hard to make this property look magnificent from the second you come off the 93N ramp! We have teams of people working to ensure your decision to stay here is the best possible choice and could not be beat, even by the most expensive of properties. We hope that this is your new go to hotel in Boston, we understand you as a well traveled history buff.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the world!

Another excellent stay at The Bostonian Boston. Great location near the wharf. Last year stayed here while taking a harbor cruise to Georges Island. Back again to take another harbor cruise, this time to Spectacle Island to participate in a 5K race around the island. Added a late check-out (for an extra fee) to shower and relax in the room following the race before going to South Station, well worth it.

Nice views from a comfortable corner room overlooking the Greenway. Easy walking distance to the T subway.

Rob,
Glad to hear you got to experience a couple of the islands in our magnificent harbor. Georges island is by far my favorite. The history that surrounds it is impressive. I remember going there as a kid and being afraid of the ghosts in the dark corners. There are so many things to do in this great city that you could not possibly do them all at once.

Thank you for being a loyal repeat friend!
