The Langham is ideally located in in the heart of the financial district. All the main attractions are minutes away by foot. The moment we entered the lobby, it was a heaven of refinement and calmness. The people at the front desk were warm, smiley and excessively efficient. Our room on the third floor just above the entrance was located in the historic part of the building. With ceilings probably 12 feet high, classic furniture made from hardwood and decoration set in rich hues of gold and navy, we had the impression entering into a manor! The bathroom is cladded of marble. There is ample closets and an iron board. Free complimentary tea and coffee. And a very dedicated turn down service at night.
At night, we dined at the Bond restaurant, probably one of the most impressive dining room I saw. Same warm and excellent service throughout the evening. The menu features East Coast classics with a twist. Dishes are colorful and very copious. The restaurant could invest in a professional wine taster! The restaurant is also a fine place for amazing cocktails, some served in tea cups like in the prohibition era!More
