Stayed here for 1 night on a business trip & wish I could have stayed longer. The hotel staff were extremely friendly & upgraded me to a jr. Suite at checkin. The room was spacious with a fireplace (I don't know if it works). Loved the turndown service at night. The bath products were divine! The only downside was a small bathroom that might be problematic if I was staying with others.

Lenox Hotel was well appointed and comfortable. The staff were friendly and gave great service. The location was terrific for our purposes. I had a god breakfast in the dining room. The valet parking worked flawlessly.

The outstanding service - -from the housekeepers to the restaurant hostess to the bell staff to the concierge - -was the highlight in the overall excellence of our family's three night, five room stray (siblings from mid 50's to early 70's in age). I am a veteran of well over 1000 hotel nights and this was among the best places I've ever stayed. The Back Bay location (one block from the T) was perfect; my wife raved about the fine sheets and the walk-in closet, and the fireplace room my brother had served as the perfect family gathering point for our pre-meal activities. Even the windows could be opened! Our only modest constructive criticism was the slow elevator - -but the adjacent stairway was beautiful! Will definitely return the next time I am in Boston. And the price was good (for Boston), too.

I arrived with a car filled with too much luggage scattered; the front valet assisted me quickly and helped me in, and addressed me by name. Once I got to the lobby - POW! - what a great vibe. Very clean, lots of activity and the CityBar was calling my name, a great invite of colors and style. The front desk clerk was thorough, quick and offered a very friendly smile. The room was spacious and had a great view of the Prudential building. I made sure I went into CityBar to check the vibe out, had a glass of wine at the bar - the bartender was great, suggested the lobster roll (not shy on lobster, truly great) - and the conversation was engaging. The next morning, departure was swift and effortless; they gave me the time to get the car ("12 minutes") when I called down, appreciated. Location was amazing, the feeling was authentic and genuine. I loved it - and will be back. Thanks!

I LOVE the Lenox. My wife and I stayed here a few years ago for our wedding and came back recently for a "staycation". I honestly can't recommend this hotel enough- it is a beautiful old building with a ton of charm, the location is perfect, and the rooms have all been recently and very nicely updated. Everything you'd expect from a luxury hotel but with a family feel you just can't get at a big chain. Austin, Mike and Nate all went out of their way to make us feel right at home. Plus it was one of the first hotels to take their environmental impact seriously which I appreciate.
