I took my 18 and 20 year old right after Christmas for 3 nights to escape and relax. They are both home from college and I thought we needed to get away for some time together.
Everything felt very Covid safe and comfortable.
The Mandarin was perfect. Incredible. Wonderful. The service was better than anything I could have imagined. We had 2 connecting rooms. We ordered breakfast through room service everyday that came quickly and which was superb. We went shopping everyday. All the stores were open. The hotel is connected to the shops at the Pru and also Copley so we didn’t need to go outside (though we did). The location could not be better.
Newbury street, the public garden and Boston Common are all an easy walk from the hotel.
One day we took the T to government Center and walked to the North End for lunch at Limoncello. It was all very Covid safe with the tables blocked off with large plexiglass-like partitions. We went early so there weren’t many people, too. The food was heavenly. Afterwards, we walked back to the T station and our hotel (T station for the hotel is Copley and it’s very close). The subway was pretty empty, too.

The doormen, front desk people, dining service, etc..every single person seemed to go out of their way and made us all feel special.
Both my 18 and 20 year old said it was one of their favorite trips ever. It was
Truly memorable. Thank you MandarinMore
