Excellent service. Everyone enjoyed their dinner and drinks. No room for desserts. The only complaint was the room was very cold. We had a private room but they just couldn't warm it up.

We ate/drink here a few times as the restaurant was attached to our hotel (XV Beacon). Great breakfast and dinner. Servers were top notch.

MOOO Beacon Hill is a casual elegant steakhouse serving American seafood and steaks, in the Beacon Hill area of Boston, Massachusetts.

In terms of variety, the menu offerings are plentiful and unique, compared to similar venues, serving this style of food at a commensurate price point. Customers can expect to pay roughly roughly fifty per person, for brunch and over a hundred per person for dinner. Portion size is a bit large for the cost and restaurant tier. Considering these factors, as well as the quality and presentation of food, the restaurant met my expectations. Everything was cooked to order.

Beverage wise, drinks were a little overpriced. Most cost over 20 dollars each. Though this is Boston, and drinks at casual pubs are upwards of fifteen a pop.
During our most recent visit, we did make reservations in advance, and it took approximately 10-15 minutes to be seated. We have additional people joining our party and they did accommodate that.

Drinks came out slow. Appetizers came out in a reasonable amount of time. Main courses came out in a reasonable amount of time.

The serving staff was formal and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is elegant, and the overall design of the restaurant is hushed and serene, which suits the intended brand identity and cuisine style.

Regarding ambiance, the restaurant is dimly lit towards the back, though light and airy at the entrance. The noise level is quiet. It is a good place to go on a date. Scale wise, tables are somewhat close together within multiple dining spaces, lending itself to the restaurant’s coveted, swanky feel.

Overall, I would recommend and anticipate coming back again.

Do not head to Moo if you are looking for one of the city's acclaimed Sunday Brunch experiences. We had an 11:00 reservation expecting to see a variety of brunch options on the menu. Instead we were given a lunch menu with a "brunch" card offering which listed 4 items; an omelet, smoked salmon, eggs benedict, or pancakes. Our waiter informed us they really don't do brunch and that the menus were as is with no substitutions. This remark was uncalled for considering we didn't ask about substitutions but simply if the chef would be willing to prepare any other brunch type options. Apparently, the more brunchy items, like omelets, hashes, breakfast meats are only served until 10:30 am. No effort was made to accommodate our requests, something we have not encountered in other restaurants of this caliber around the city. In addition, when making the reservation we mentioned we were celebrating a birthday. The server never thought to bring over a "happy birthday" plate or even stick a candle in one of the parker roll trays he brought out. We walked away disappointed in the food variety and service and see why the restaurant was empty at a time when other establishments in Boston are bustling with brunch enthusiasts.

Excellent food especially the steak. I was there for a business dinner so had the full meal - salad, appetizer, main course and dessert. Huge portions - order carefully! :) great service!
