I was attending a convention, and it's right around the corner from Hynes Convention Center and lots of shopping. If the weather is bad, you can cross the street to the Sheraton, which is connected to Hynes and shopping with overhead walkways. The rooms are not all rectangle-shaped boxes, which is always a pleasant relief when traveling a lot. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise, and they have a coffee shop in the lobby for the quick breakfast. And a tip for people coming from the airport--there is a very inexpensive shuttle from in front of the convention center--$7 each way--and it leaves every 20 minutes. A cab fare is about four times that, so it's a great service, with no reservations needed.

Second year in a row we have stayed at this hotel and have been very satisfied both times. Great rooms and personable staff. Location is convenient to get one of the trolley's for your of the city. Within walking distance to shopping and restaurants.

We stayed here during our daughter's commencement in May 2016. Due to the peak demand, we reserved this superior corner room since July 2015 and were not disappointed. I am an Hilton Honour members thus I can check in via app in my MP. It is absolutely convenient. Though a bit aged, this hotel is situated in a very convenient location in Boston, either to walk, to drive or to take the T-Line. Their private garage is right on site with easy but safe access. Staff are friendly and helpful. They even allowed us to deposit two big luggages for a week while the other Embassy Suites hotel we would stay on our departure from Boston did not accept anything. The only comment I'd make was that our refrigerator was dirty and stained with drinks. We called the Front Desk and they sent a maid right away but it was a bit disappointing to see such a renowned hotel had a big loophole in House Keeping Dept both in room cleaning and inspection.

Room tip: Corner room on the high level.

Stayed week of July 4, 2016. Had to request everything more than once, and some things were never resolved. Night of check in, requested extra blanket and pillow, and had to call back an hour+ later and request again. We also noted that our tub was dripping, but it was more like flowing, and loud. Requested repair again a second time and this was never resolved during our stay. We also didn't even see a note that an engineer checked the issue. How housekeeping didn't see and report this concern is beyond me. Pluses - location, location, nice sized rooms, Gold/Diamond lounge. Paul in the bar was fantastic and a joy. Minuses- had to request things more than once and some were never resolved. Only attempt to resolve was "did you park with us?" because they can easily waive that fee. The answer was no, and the attempt to satisfy me was weak.

I would have given it 5 stars, but local construction outside is a problem this week. Staff is excellent and the location couldn't be better. Comfortable rooms and beds. I walked almost everywhere today and the Hilton was very simple to get to and in the Center of everything. Will be back...
