The hotel is stylist, clean and comfortable. The rooms are large and modern. It is in a good location for Union Square, restaurants and transport links so feels like it could be a five star kind of place.

The only thing that lets this place down is the reception staff, if you have no issues your stay will be fine. We are not normally ones to complain but the air con in our room did not work and it was very hot. We phoned down and an engineer was going to be sent up, we waited over an hour then had to leave for dinner reservations. We told reception who seemed to have no recollection of the original complaint and they said it would be fixed on our return or they would change our room. On our return we was told it had all been fixed, so we went up to the room and it hadn’t so they changed our room. I am not sure why they told us this when was clearly not true and I did ask this question to which I was ignored and got no response. The reception staff we dealt with was mainly a young guy who did not wear a name badge unlike all other staff, was uninterested and rude at times.

In the room change we left a laptop sleeve and charger on the chair. Which we noticed was missing the next day. We asked several times and this was never located, there is a lost property book the cleaners log left items in but clearly the system does not work.

There is a resort fee of £35 a night that was not made clear at time of booking or check in which is mandatory for access to gym, business centre, Wi -Fi, phone calls, papers and so on. The Wi-Fi being only service we used. I found this out online later as the staff could not actually explain what the mandatory charge was in relation to.

The doorman where very friendly and helpful, they always had a smile on their face to great you.

The hotel is close to tenderloin an un-desirables area, but as long as you don’t go back a few streets caused us no issues.

There is no coffee facilities in the room but available in reception, I like a coffee when wake up so would prefer it in room as more convenient.

I stayed in a king room with a city view. It was lovely. It was clean and bright. It also felt spacious to me (probably because it was just me staying in the room). The bed was very comfortable. The mattress was a little on the firmer side and the linen was comforting.

There's no room service, but the hotel has a restaurant (Jasper's) where you could eat at or grab your food to go. The hotel offered a $5 coupon for each day you opted out on getting your room cleaned.

As for transportation to the hotel, the hotel didn't have a shuttle service to pick you up from the airport. It did, however, have one to take you there for $17. The shuttle service was with a ride-sharing van company that got me to the airport in no time.

Great stay, the room was comfortable and quiet. It was a little tight but nicely laid out and was great for 2 people. It was nice there was a mini fridge. We didn't have a car, but I believe the parking can be pretty pricey. The staff were super helpful too. Our room wasn't ready when wet flew in, they help on to our bags for a few hours while we explored the city. Would happily stay here again and have recommended it already to family to stay there.
