We checked out after one night. We arrived very excited to celebrate our honeymoon...upon checking in we were told that we couldn't have a king room or even an upgrade to a suite because they only had us booked for a double room (we used a travel agent who made sure a king was on the books). I had also called numerous times prior because the email from the hotel I had stated a double room as well. After check in, we went up to our room, which besides the view of the ocean, was highly disappointing. If you are going to spend +$600 per night in Maui, go elsewhere. The room smelled of wet, moldy, wood and we didn't even want to use the shower. We tried to tough it out for a night, but the beds weren't comfortable and I woke up with my eyes swollen from being allergic to what I can only imagine was mold. Our travel agent was able to work out a refund for the remaining nights, which the resort ended up double charging me for and we had to work that out as well. This hotel has potential if they put some work into it. But until then, pass on this one. The desk didn't even say a word when we left early.
