First let me start off by saying Leann helped us throughout our stay and her Ho'okipa is EXCELLENT! We stayed in room 505 which was beautiful! Recently redone, and the furniture, bathroom, the view man what a view!! And the kitchen is incredible with the newest appliances we've seen! Very very nicely done, perfectly clean (by Marylu). We slept so well in this room, and very peaceful, the place is very chill. This location was originally a Hilton resort in the 1960's, lot's of history here, and the units have all been updated to the latest and greatest, excellent internet, beautifully done bathrooms and I cannot say enough about the kitchen, wow!!! The furniture was Hawaiian style all around and really nice, we felt like we were in our Hawaiian home on Maui (we live on O'ahu). Our 11 year old fell in love instantly with this place and we will be back for sure. The beach location is INCREDIBLE, the water on the beach reminds me of North Shore O'ahu style, clear, clean, strong but not too strong...PERFECTION! Looking out over the water you can see Lana'i to the left, Moloka'i to the right, and behind Moloka'i on the left in the distance you can make out O'ahu! What a place! The main pool is under renovations now for the next month, but we caught the last night in it with our young one and had a great time! There were like only two other folks using the pool that night so it was almost like our own private pool and hot tub WOW!! The swaying palms, the sweet smell of the plumeria growing everywhere just fills the air and really enhances the experience here. Rates here were absolutely awesome for us, and again WE WILL BE BACK to see Leann and their staff who all seem to have Aloha. Kudos to the Villas!!!

Room Tip: Amazing views, kitchen, spacious and updated room in 505!

We stayed in villa 229 and it was modern and had a lovely lanai perfect for coffee in the morning. Worked out great for 3 adults and a baby. So close to the beach and awesome pools. The beach is the best in Maui! The restaurant on site is great and decently priced drinks! Loved having the kaanapali trolley to use to travel through all the other hotels and mall. Close to shopping and restaurants by car. We had the most amazing time and can't wait to come back!

My mom and I stayed 1 night there coz we got locked out in our airbnb apt. We found both of us got bite after we woke up in the morning. Actually i already felt very itchy and found rash on my lower back at midnight. After my mom found she got the same rash on her arms and legs in the morning, we reported to their employee in the morning. they sent 3 cleaning employees to check our bed. They saw i got bite really bad on my feet and legs. But they didn't find any bugs and they just told us its not because of bugs. After i came back home, i did some research. it may be the sheets. some detergent liquid with strong chemical stuff may be still kept on the sheets if the hotel doesn't wash it very well. My mom and I were so disappointed and unhappy. that was our first hawaii trip and we got so many bad luck. and we spend $300+ for 1 night here and we got sick from sleeping on their bed. And till today we didn't get any apologies and responses from them.

We spent two weeks here and were very pleased with our room, a high floor oceanfront one bedroom suite (more of an apartment) with a full kitchen. The view included the pool & gardens with the ocean in the distance.

The pool area is very nice and when friendly Lanessa is on duty at the adjacent Castaways Cafe, includes pool service.
The restaurant was convenient & great for takeout.
The small general store was run by friendly people & we visited frequently.
The beach activities hut is well versed in the water conditions but we found the availability of cabanas very limited.
BEWARE: the Aloha Concierge Desk is located in the Hotel Lobby but is not staffed by Hotel employees. We frequently use on site activity specialists when we travel with great success, we found this group to be somewhat untrustworthy. We described the snorkel adventure we were interested in (size of boat, style of boat, amount of passengers) as we do snorkel tours every chance we get. Lisa, the concierge, strongly recommended a particular trip & when we asked about size of boat, amount of snorkelers, etc. we found it was everything we did not want. We picked up some snorkeling brochures & left. We found one of the brochures met our exact needs & when we returned to the desk & asked about that exact tour, she said they didn’t book that excursion. We started to walk away & she said wait, maybe we do book that tour & quoted a surprisingly high price. We said no thanks, as we felt she was untrustworthy. Upon calling the snorkel tour directly, we were quoted a price $60 less than what Lisa stated. We were quite surprised.

Customer Service:
We received outstanding service at the front desk from all especially Joe & Jennifer.
We received above & beyond service from Edwin in Security in returning lost articles.
We received wonderful unobtrusive service from Housekeeping especially Merilyn.

Kaanapali Beach is gorgeous with a great beach/boardwalk area that allows ease of access to adjacent hotels & restaurants. We enjoyed the Royal Lahaina Cafe & Duke’s.
Whalers Village Shopping Center was convenient with Lahaina a short ride away with everything you could need from shopping & dining options.
