This was my first time actually in Kirkland and decided to give it a go on a Tuesday early evening. The place was full and loud at 7 pm.

Took a seat at the bar that had a very large selection of bourbon, whiskey, rye and scotch as well as other spirits. Initial feel was warm and inviting.

Started with a Weiss beer on tap. Very nice.

They had an interesting Mushroom salad in creamy dressing with Rocket and finely shaved parmesan cheese. I wanted a half order as the salad was large and they had no issues with doing that’s

For my entree I ordered risotto with crab and prawns. This paired with a glass of Sancerre, which was surprising to see on the menu by the glass.

Perfect risotto with lots of creamy crab meat shredded and in chunks. 6 or so large prawns. Very well seasoned not too salty. A nice dish.

Overall very satisfied and will seek this place out next time in Kirkland.

Had a nice evening sampling the B&B. Sat at the bar and had great service and delicious cocktails. Ordered the steak tartare and mussels to start. Mussels were a little bland and the tartare was a nice try. The entrees were delicious though! The lamb shank was to die for and the scallops were lovely.

Stopped in for dessert and a Spanish coffee. Both were well made. The panna cotta was smooth and creamy. The coffee was flaming. As it should be. Nice atmosphere, lively crowd. Service was good.

Stop in for a drink and a bite.

A friend and I wandered in one afternoon not really expecting much and were very pleasantly surprised. We ordered the Tostones (shrimp, avocado, fried plantains, and spicy aioli) and truffle pomme frites (french fries with a roasted garlic aioli). They were so delicious we indulged in a second order of Tostones. All this chased with craft cocktails. Service was good, prices reasonable.

We stopped by for a quick drink for happy hour and tried the Katie Marie. What a delightfully refreshing citrus cocktail. A must try. Not sweet at all- thankfully- just pure citrus with a slight fizz from the sparkling wine. We ended up heading back for dinner. Several at our table ordered the house made smoked trout ravioli with a smoked tomato vinaigrette. It was beautifully presented and devoured by all who ordered. Two of us got the mushroom risotto and loved it. The mushrooms made it so meaty and satisfying. Finally the last in our party had the goat cheese gnocchi. Also well-enjoyed. For the quality of food and ingredients the prices are very reasonable and I look forward to returning. The staff was very accommodating as well especially when they couldn't find our reservation.
