Went to the Capital Grille for a Christmas lunch with co-workers and have a lovely time. Even though this was a busy time of the year, this chain steak house didn't disappoint. The decor is open and slightly formal and manly, with a limited but high quality menu and very good formal service.
We had a range of starters and entrees and they were all excellent - served in a timely manner (our waiter sensed we were having a good time talking and managed the pace) and all on temperature. The wine list is electronic and has a nice broad selection from around the world with a range of prices. We hade a nice Chablis and a Burgundy - both with rational mark-ups.
Overall, a well done meal with no complaints - on one of the busiest lunch days of the year! A solid reliable place for a nice lunch or a business lunch or dinner. Can't miss with the Capital Grille
