I love the decor of this diner. Brings back memories of the 50's. The menu is extensive and prices reasonable. It is a short walk from the Tysons Mall. I highly recommend eating here for a hearty meal that won't cost a fortune.

Since I am one I know that of which I speak. Breakfast has lots of locals. Food is predictable, they honor requests and it's on time. If you're looking for the country version with huge amounts of food this is probably not your place. It has variety of food, prices and locally sourced ingredients. It reflects the NOVA lifestyle.

Silver Diners were a statewide icon, but in reality have become an overrated and overpriced Denny’s. There are better restaurants nearby.

While most people were sleeping in we went for an early breakfast at the Silver Diner in Tysons, Virginia. We were fortunate to have Aida as our server. She expressed her happiness to be working, even on the holiday, and exuded charm, cheerfulness and helpfulness throughout our meal. She answered all our questions and made suggestions which enhanced our dining experience. The food at all Silver Diners is excellent, as is the service, but we wanted to call attention to Aida as it is servers such as her that make this breakfast memorable. Kudos to her.

Excellent breakfast, the food was great and our waiter was extremely engaging and knowledgeable.
The atmosphere was great, playing old rock and roll on a small jute box on your table. We had control of volume which was great because we could have a conversation without shouting.
