During a recent visit to Orange, we ate lunch at Forked twice. Everything we tried there was delicious -- we especially liked the shrimp and grits, pork sandwich, and pizza.

Apparently, Forked is the (more casual) sister property of nearby Vintage restaurant. The same, very talented, chef supervises both properties

Fork's interior is beautifully designed -- sleek contemporary with many whimsical touches.

We'll definitely return to Forked when we're next in the area.

A most enjoyable first visit to this relatively new dining option in Orange, VA. New name and redesigned interior design and decoration done amazingly well. Surroundings are aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. Kitchen of first quality, prices fair, wait personnel friendly, helpful and attentive when needed. Compact, but encompassing menu. We enjoyed delightfully fresh and tasty house salads. Entrees included a tasteful and eye appealing filet steak and a hearty Chile rubbed pork tenderloin with a bit of a tasty kick. The desserts were irresistible, home made sherberts and a decadent eclair ganache with fresh berries. Fresh brewed decaf coffee served in oversized decorative cups rounded out a perfectly delivered dining experience.

Went for dinner and the food was very good, but the bread was incredible! That night there were yeast rolls and cranberry pecan rolls, and both were terrific and served w/ soft butter which I really appreciate. Crab bisque was quite good. For dessert we had lime sherbet (which was nice and tart) and blueberry sorbet. Both were delicious.

Since I am in Orange daily because my husband is in a rehab facility, I have found all of the restaurants in this town. The food is pretty good, but not over the top. I had the seafood chowder and maybe found a piece of shrimp and mostly a few potatoes. I ordered the wonton shrimp, which is an appetizer for $12.95. There were four medium shrimp but they were tasty with the sauce. It is a beautiful restaurant, but that is about the best I can say as it is overpriced for what you get.
