It never disappoints. Current was bad but we made it ashore from our cat by swimming instead of dinghy. Would def recommend

A must-do on Jost Van Dyke. Kind of sad in Covid times to see the place empty. We were told that there’s usually hundreds of boats and people everywhere. We were 2 of 6 people there. But their Painkillers are awesome! Hopefully things will get back to normal for them soon!
Everybody was excited to try the painkiller drink this bar and restaurant is famous for. The ride over by boat was expensive from the cruise ship port at Tortola. This restaurant is called the Soggy Dollar because you have to walk or swim from the boat to get to the restaurant. The painkiller drink tasted just like a pina colada and wasn't anything special. We were able to get painkillers on the cruise ship anyway. These were the most expensive 2 alcoholic drinks I've ever bought due to the price of getting to the restaurant by boat. I recommend cruisers just swim at the beach in Tortola. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in Tortola available. Jost Van Dyke is very expensive to get to.
One of the best beach bars I have even been to, such a great vibe! The world famous painkillers are the signature cocktail. Can't wait to be back!
Fun and sun experience, make sure to snack well with all the painkillers going down... Epic spot a must see!
