Description: El Barroco "and" Cadaques ", two magical planets have been particularly related to the painter. Our hospitality, friendliness and atmosphere with each artist have created and try to keep accompanied by an excellent variety of Lebanese mezes, grilled fragrant spices of the East. In 1979, the great "Maestro" has created the logo "EL BARROCO" Once the "master" sent us a group of Chinese designer from San Francisco to make clothes for the opening night of the DALI Museum in Figueres. Dali reserved the "Patio" when waned to dine in el Barroco, always with his "Buick", wearing his black catalan sneakers with white spots, inviting hippies, gypsies and other people at its table to shock and provoke his distinguished guests, singing and dancing on the tables even while taking pictures from the event. After eating the grapes the Empordan, Dali was the first to leave the restaurant, to return a few days later. Dali's favorite foods - Steamed mussels taken near Cap de Creus Cap - Shoulder of lamb is Catalan. - Grilled lobster with garlic. - Grapes and Wine Muscat de l'Emporda. - The famous mineral water "Vichy Catalan." While simple Gala Menu was: - Poached Eggs. - Sardines in oil. In wintertime, between September and March, it's highly recommend to send us an email to double check if restaurant is open. We had a fantastic meal of a variety of plates from the menu- both vegetarian/vegan and meat/fish, and topped it off with baklava.

The family of staff were friendly and attentive. Enjoyed being surrounded by beautiful gardens, art, and even a song on the piano.

Highly recommend this stop in Cadaques.

Just off the beach promenade is this oasis of a court yard restaurant. Th proprietor greated us and made sure our lunch was to satisfaction. The Lebanese degustation meny was fresh and tasty and the chicken kebab tender and well seasoned. Served with the suggested Rosé it was as a perfect lunch. A must for anyone wanting to break up the tapas dominated Spanish cuisine

The courtyard is beautiful and the interior funky and unique. This was one of my favorite meals and a nice break from tapas. The owner was friendly and the service good!

Samy and family gave us the dream wedding dinner. It was totally over expectation. The food is amazing and the atmosphere that Samy creates is magical. He and his family make you feel like in a libanese paradise. Thank you! We will always remember that day. Alberto and Katarina

What a lovely restaurant. The courtyard is an oasis of cool but it was raining and we sat inside with an eclectic mix of antiquities. The food was absolutely fantastic - among the best Lebanese I have eaten. The owner is a super restrauteur and to cap it all he played on the piano which was so atmospheric it moved my wife to tears. You will love it here as we did. Next Time in Cadeques we will definitely be back.
