The hotel is fantastic. The junior suites are quite large with a large FST TV that swivels around to either face the bed or the settee. The shower cubicle could be larger but still adequate and the bathroom has two basins. We had a suite overlooking the beautifully manicured Botanic gardens with palm trees and many plants. (Room 222 this time 220 last year). There were always gardeners tidying up around the volcanic gravel. There are two large swimming pools one with a children’s area. There is only a lift from the restaurant up to the reception. If, as we did, have a room with a balcony you have to carry your’ suitcases up two flights of stair. There are only two floors so if you have mobility problems I suggest you ask for a room with a terrace.

You could ask a Porter to take your luggage up to the first floor.

The food is wonderful and you can help yourself to free Carva in the morning but no longer in the evening. The staff are wonderful, in Reception and the Restaurant. They greet you with a smile at the entrance and all the, mainly waitresses, smile and are very efficient. The hotel is a 10-15mins walk from the beach and the main shopping street.

Normally i would review the hotel but in this unique case. Iam going to review the staff.
Having returned this morning from fuerteventura,we never really had the holiday we planned. Due to the covid19 the resort went into lockdown. We were reduced to staying in our rooms only leaving for meal times or one person allowed to go to the supermarket or pharmacy. All through this trying time for hotel guests and staff alike the magnificent staff of the H10 Ocean Suites kept up a great service with a smile on their faces. Even though many of them had familyto worry about in other parts of Spain they kept all the guests at ease. So to the management,kitchen , reception, bar, grounds plus cleaning and maintenance a huge THANK YOU for everything. Also may mention the Jet2 reps who also done their employer proud.
