We visited at the beginning of September and our understanding is that the hotel had only just re-opened after Covid. We took our 8 month old child and this review is reflective of our circumstances.

This is a large hotel at the centre of what appears to be a complex of Protur hotels in the vicinity. The hotel is at least a 10 minute walk to the very edge of the beach and which stretches for some distance towards S’Illot. It is not on the beach. There is a nature reserve nearby as well as the safari park. The immediate area has minimal bars/restaurants but had lots of small shops and a large Carrefour for our needs. There was a general feeling of the area being a little run down, with many closed shops, bars and hotels which may be due to the effects of Covid 19 but it certainly felt less upmarket than other surrounding areas we visited.

The hotel itself is very big, 4 floors of rooms which surround the pool areas. If you get a room facing the pool you will have to contend with the evening’s entertainment noise which we heard people complaining about. Plenty of sunbeds, 2 bars, 2 large restaurants for buffet dining and then there is the Mexican restaurant which does food pretty much all day long for snacks. The Mexican restaurant has to be pre booked for the evening and is actually just another buffet whereas the Italian is a la carte and must also be booked. The mini golf is free and there is the water park at the back of the hotel both of which need pre booking as well. There is plenty of pool space, 2 large ones, 2 baby pools and another one that they play water polo in. Most of the pools are very deep however and worth considering if you have kids. The waterpark was ok, nothing special but entertaining for a day. The disappointing thing is that there is no bar and no food there currently which again means another long trip back to the main hotel for food which ruins the point of going for the day.

From our perspective whilst this was a nice cheap post Covid holiday there are elements of this hotel that are frustrating more so as we had a young child even though this is an extremely family friendly hotel. The distance you need to walk is a daily grind, the lifts are slow with only one family allowed at a time, you can’t take pushchairs into the restaurant and given you need to pre book any activity it means another long slog to reception. This wouldn’t be an issue if there was more information provided with your room or booking in. There is an expectation that you will download and app however this app does not function properly, it also requires you to be aware of its existence and technical ability. But if for example you wish to play crazy golf, it is a long walk to the course only to be told you need to pre book and then walk back to reception. The same with the water park and I saw many people being turned away as they were not aware of this. This wouldn’t be so bad if it weren’t for the bar staff who, I wouldn’t go so far as to say were rude but regularly appeared to not want to be there. It was unclear what drinks were included in the all-inclusive package as well as what ice creams on offer for example. We were often told things weren’t included and came at an extra cost. There is limited cocktails, spirits, wine and beers but you get what you pay for, everything else is an extra fee they just don’t tell you. Whilst not overly welcoming the staff were efficient, we had to change rooms and move the cot as well as having an air conditioning issues. All were dealt with promptly. There is nightly entertainment some of which was excellent and others mediocre and activities throughout the day by the animation team. My wife was disappointed as there were advertised mum and baby activities everyday but every time she asked they said they didn’t know about them or they weren’t on or that they were somewhere else but not sure where. Given we went with Tui and there were Tui reps around we didn’t feel welcomed weren’t provided with sufficient information and not very included.

Overall the weather was good, the food was at times good and at times indifferent, the facilities were ok and it was reasonably Covid safe. The hotel is probably best suited to families with young children who can attend the kids club activities. I wouldn’t come here as a young couple but it was a nice family holiday, I wouldn’t say the hotel was 4 star but it may be because it is only just starting up again. You won’t be disappointed with the hotel but you also wouldn’t be amazed. We personally would not return to this area of Majorca.

Room tip: Don’t go peak season it will be very busy and the hotel can’t cope at the moment

This was a last minute booking and couldn’t have picked a better hotel . Very high standards and Spotlessly clean . Room was very comfortable and perfect for our needs . The buffet had something for everyone and the food at Italian restaurant was delicious, the outdoor setting was beautiful.
All the staff were polite and helpful, special thanks to Rachel on reception,David at the bar by the Italian and Jame at La Fontana . Would highly recommended this hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to go back .

Very helpful staff, great food with fresh omelettes in the morning and fresh grilled fish for a dinner. Lots of food options. There are 3 restaurants-Main, Grill house and Italian La Fontana with table service, which felt nice for a change. Booking required at least a day before. Hotel is 10 minutes walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. There is huge Carrefour just around the corner. We stayed for 8 days in September so hotel wasn’t full. We highly recommend this time specially for couples as it’s family hotel and it probably gets full during the summer holidays. For families with children is perfect as there is a lot of activities for kids including water park right next to the hotel. Booking required too a night before. Lots of trip options, Marineland with dolphins is must see. Bicycles hire is just plus to all, only 10€per head returnable deposit. We really enjoyed it all.

We’re coming to the end of our week-long stay and are impressed with the hotel overall. This was our first time staying in a big family all inclusive resort so there was elements that we’ve found aren’t really for us (couple in late 20’s), but that’s no reflection on the hotel itself as the location is perfect, very clean, wonderful facilities etc. We visited during School term time at the end of the summer and the hotel is probably only about half full but that’s perfect for us - I think any busier would have been a bit much but it’s a very big hotel so that’s what you sign up for!

Facilities/Activities
- The grounds are fairly big but lovely to walk around. The pools are great! A good mix of larger ones and more secluded ones, and plenty of sun loungers available throughout the day. We also played mini golf and hired bikes (both free) a few times which was a great added bonus to have on-site. Walking distance to the beach with lots of little shops around. The animation team run activities all day long and there seems to be lots to do for little ones too, although as a couple we didn’t feel out of place.

Food/Drink
- Breakfast was great, a really good selection. We didn’t eat in the main buffet much as it was a bit boring/repetitive and dinner time felt so overwhelming and chaotic but as I’ve mentioned this is our first holiday of this type so I’m sure if you’re used to all-inclusive family resorts then it’s fine! We loved the Country Grill and had most lunches here as well as 3 dinners - the food is really good and it’s at the back of the hotel so a lot more chilled. We also tried the Italian restaurant which again was more chilled and better than the main buffet but nothing amazing. All of the bars were fab - Estrella, soft drinks, cocktails and slush (add rum/vodka to make your own frozen cocktails!)

Covid
- We visited the summer after the initial Covid outbreak and it felt so safe - certainly much safer than back home in England. Masks must be worn in public areas and we were particularly impressed that there was staff watching over the buffets telling people to put a mask on as you always get the odd person who thinks the rules don’t apply to them. A doctor visits the hotel every day for Covid tests to do before you fly home.

A special mention goes to all of the staff. Every single staff members we had contact with was friendly, helpful and appeared as though they loved their job and really wanted to be there. A couple of people who stood out - the man greeting people at the main buffet who took the time to enthusiastically chat to every single guest whilst also whizzing around helping clear up when he had a free moment, and Maria in the animation team who was always so bubbly and lively and worked really hard all day long.

Firstly ignore the bad reviews, this hotel is spot on the staff are helpful and friendly, the food is always very nice , the pool areas are always kept nice and clean throughout the day, the beach is a 10 minute walk passing shops and restaurants in the way , me and my fiancée hired a 2 sun lounges for the day with umbrella and a safe which costs €35 which is very expensive but we paid it anyway, on arrival at the hotel we had to pay €46 local tax and €19 for the safe for a week , in all we would definitely come back possibly next yeah hope this helps.
